Description
In a recent bout of curiosity we created an AcoustaGlide out of steel then experimented with salt bath nitriding the steel, the end result was our new patented finish Dynamic Diffusion Technology®. Dynamic diffusion Technology enables the widest controllable range of dynamics and tone of any other slide material on the market - Not to mention it enables the most sustain ever! This chemical heat treat process actually diffuses nitrogen over six thousandths of an inch into the slide, thus transforming the slide in to a corrosion resistant dynamically perfect material that is case hardened to over 60 Rockwell. You will notice more sustain mixed with the tonal qualities of both glass and brass slides.

Slide
It's pretty good. Love the concave radius. Still, nothing beats the chromedome imo. Even for lapslide

best of the best
I have played slide for years, and collected all styles. I got one of the 1rst Acousta-glide developed by Leo Kottke and Dunlop I think. That was the best tone and weight. But now they improved on the best, unfathomably. You can hear zero loss of any harmonic content. Sparkly, detailed, sustains for days. I just hope the Medium size will be back in production soon. The Large one is not too bad though. A little piece of leather or paper inside will do.

Worth every penny
This slide is outstanding. It's comfortable, and it produces a sweet tone with minimal effort. I'm just starting out with slide guitar, and this slide has already helped me make progress. Thanks for a great product!

A must-have for light action guitars
I play a Taylor GS6 12-string. It has such a light action that using a straight slide is very difficult on the high side. Saw Leo Kotke in concert and he promoted it. Boy was he right. The radiused slide plays much better. The material if's made of renders a smooth, "roseny" tone; quite beautiful.
