High-end quality at its peak: The NF cable for music lovers. Uncompromisingly good in uncritical environments because it is not shielded. Perfect for short connections with line level, such as the connection of CD players, streamers or DACs.
This cable is not shielded which means that the sound quality is enhanced even more. There is a certain risk of interference. For particularly sensitive connections (e.g. turntables) or for longer cables (> 150 cm), we recommend the shielded cable version VOVOX® sonorus protect A.
This cable was not designed for digital signals. However, we use it as a S/P-DIF cable ourselves and and have made excellent experiences with it. Theoretically this shouldn’t work-but in practice it has proven to work like a charm. We therefore dare to propose this cable for digital use, despite the difference in impedance.
The impedance of this cable is not 75 Ω as required for S/P-DIF cables. However, in our experience, the risk that the signal transmission is disturbed by this is minimal.
