Description
The SM-6 is a new larger size elastic spider type isolation shock mount with rubber suspension bands. Shock mounts help to prevent most shock and vibration noise from affecting microphone performance. The spring clip design allows the user to access any controls mounted on the microphone. Adjustable angle can be locked into position using locking knob. A large sub-frame, for extra stability, is suspended with 8 red elastic bands.
Fits standard 5/8”-27 and 3/8″-16 Female microphone stand threads (with included adapter).
Fits most cylindrical microphones from 35 mm (1.37”) to 60 mm (2.36”) up to 650 grams (1.43 lbs.). The key word here is cylindrical. We find that it holds something like the Audio-Technica AT4047/SV microphone perfectly which maxes out at 53.4mm in diameter.
