Description
The figure-of-eight sister in the extremely useful 22 family Rectangular capsule microphone with a small footprint. Flat frequency response, figure-of-eight characteristics and useful in an MS Stereo setup.
We like to think of the 22 series as our most allround models. The CB 22 is the figure-of-eight member of the 22 family. It uses Pearl's large, rectangular, dual membrane capsule. Its natural and uncoloured sound makes it an excellent choice for capturing the nuances and timbres of musical instruments and vocal performances. The sound of the CB 22 is further enhanced by the extremely quiet 48 volt transformerless preamplifier circuit. The very flat frequency response is resonance-free and extends far into the lower frequencies.
Pearl CB 22 is particularly useful in an MS stereo setup (in conjunction with a cardioid microphone) or when used in a pair to create a Blumlein stereo set up.
The CB 22 is finished in piano black ED lacquer with a red logo, ring and engraved model number.
