Description
The Summit ECS-410 Everest is a Tube/Solid-State Channel Strip with Microphone Preamp, Compressor, Passive EQ, and DriveBus.
The Summit Audio ECS-410 Everest Channel Strip is a distinctly different four-section analog processor and microphone preamp, ideal for tracking and
processing your most important signals.
Each section is completely independent with its own fully balanced I/O and the ability to route each section together internally using TouchPatch™ a unique and amazingly intuitive routing system.
You have four complete processors combined into one superlative master channel strip:
Mz2 - Microphone and Instrument Preamplifier
The Mz-2 is a spectacular sounding microphone and instrument preamplifier with the ability to switch between tube and solid-state input stages.
Dc1 - Dual Mode Dynamics Control
The Dc-1 module is an ultra low noise dynamics control section with switchable Classic “soft knee” smooth compression or Tight mode, which provides a much higher compression ratio.
Fe1 - Passive Three Band Equalizer
The Fe-1 Passive Equalizer offers up three bands of smooth Summit passive tube EQ with fixed frequency select knobs with six settings each.
Db2 - Drive Bus Master Output and Drive Section
The Db2 Drive Bus has multiple gain stages for overdriving in either vacuum tube or discrete transistor mode, allowing for all sorts of tonal variation from ultra clean to overdrive.
Features
- Tube or Discrete Transistor Mic Preamp w/Jensen Transformer
- Passive LC Equalizer for unparalleled warmth and flavor
- Dual Mode Dynamics using Summit Classic Design
- DriveBus Transistor or Dual Tube Overdrivable Output
- TouchPatch™ Single Touch Routing
- Independent Balanced I/O on All Sections
- Hand Crafted in the U.S.A.
All for one, one for all
Everest is a state of the art channel strip comprised of four completely independent modules, each with its own fully balanced input and output, and the ability to effortlessly route and reroute each module internally entirely in the analog domain.
TouchPatch and go
With the TouchPatch routing system you're in control of your signal path quickly and efficiently. With just the push of a button, you can easily route any combination of the ECS-410 internal modules.
Take the direct route
Each section has its own I/O (and in some cases, multiple I/O), so each one can be wired into your patch bay for individual use. Any section not routed internally is ready to be used on its own as if it were a completely independent piece of gear….and all six of Everest’s outputs are always on and available, allowing for all sorts of creative routing and patching options.
Internal power supply.
All Summit Audio products sport an internal high voltage power supply using an industry standard IEC connector.
